On Friday, 21st July 2006. Belgrade Stock Exchange temporarily suspended trading in all securities. Suspension was performed according to the Law and Stock Exchange’s regulation, and arose from the technical problem on the communication infrastructure, due to what it was impossible to that all participators in trading would have equal, simultaneous and same conditions for placing orders.
Departments of the Stock Exchange tried activation of main as well as backup devices, but activation was impossible to perform under the conditions that are stipulated by the law, By-Law Acts and Stock Exchange’s regulation.
After performing all necessary activities, the public is going to be informed about the causes that generated suspension in trading at the Stock Exchange, as well as the taken measures.
We apologize to all clients and members of the Stock Exchange who weren’t able to trade today.
